Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Debbie moved to America as a young girl and grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. She spent 22+ years as a design engineer for the automotive, aerospace and trucking industries. Her admiration for small business and the free market led to the creation of the Capitalist Chicks website. She has been honored to interview well over 50 small business owners since launching Capitalist Chicks and looks forward to many more.
Anna Cuthrell is from Latrobe, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Saint Vincent College. After spending the summer interning for the Charles G. Koch Foundation with the Higher Education team, she decided to pursue educational programming full time. In the spring of 2010, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to become the Assistant Director of Programs for the Foundation for Economic Education.
Gianna Englert graduated from Saint Vincent College in 2008 with a BA in political science. She now spends her time reading Great Books in pursuit of a master’s degree in liberal arts. She has been a contributor to CapitalistChicks.com since 2005.
Johanne Harrigan holds a Master's Degree in clinical social work from Fordham University and a Master's Degree in history from the State University of New York at Oswego. As a social worker, she worked primarily in mental health and medical settings. Her Master's thesis focused on the political evolution of the American
Medical Association during the Progressive Era. Currently on hiatus from the world of paid employment, Johanne is a homeschooling mother of three bright, beautiful children.
Angela Neal is a freelance writer and serial entrepreneur. She has written for newspapers and magazines around the world and now runs a thriving online media company. She lives in her home country of Scotland with her Westie, Sam.
